Team Profiles 
Turning to the competitive world of motorcycle racing at the rype age of three, Cody Matechuk has had more time on the track at the age of 15 than many racers have had in their entire lives. His comfort and passion for motorcycle racing was apparent from day one and success in the sport has been all but inevitable. Moving through the ranks of motocross, winning three provincial motocross Championships, the passion for racing was established. Crossing from the dort to tarmac began in 2005 as Cody embraced mini-roadracing right here in his own back yard. His performance competing in the AMRA events earned him a shot at representing Canada in the 2006 Metrakit World GP Championships (in Valencia, Spain). First time on the bikes provided, on an international stage and in this series, the little Canuck brought home top honors for North America against 233 other competitors. And so it began.
In 2008, this exciting young pilot was picked up by Acceleration Racing to compete in the Canadian National roadracing circuit on board the Suzuki SV 650. After setting 4 out of 6 possible track records and earning his first National Championship title in this class, the young Albertan returned in 2009 to compete in the Amateur 600 Series. With media personnel setting high expectations, Matechuk delivered. Once again, a near flawless season earned Canada's young hopeful another 4 out of 6 potential wins and another 4 blistering-fast track records. Oh ya, and his 2nd National Series Championship Title.
For 2010, the 15 year old sensation will take his place on the Pro 600 grid to battle with the best in Canada. Competitors will include multi-National title holder Jordan Szoke, Brett McCormack, Kevin Lacombe and many other familiar faces in the National Spotlight.
